My Personal Opinion:
  1. Affordable
  2. Fast Drying
  3. Long Lasting
  4. No Chipping
  5. Comes off easily

  1.  The applicator’s head is too big

The bottom line:
I would definitely recommend this nail polish to a friend because of its long lasting effects. When I say no chipping I mean it can go a week or so without chipping. My nails chip for no particular reason. If I can say this product does not chip, that means it won’t chip for somebody with normal, healthy nails. My only problem with this product is that the applicator’s head/brush is too big, making it very hard to apply the product. For a product that dries up so quickly, I am surprised that it is so easy to remove it from the nails. I wear it mostly on my toe nails and it lasts up to two weeks before it starts chipping. I love it!

We drove to the Outlet Shoppes At Atlanta Mall yesterday. It is actually located in Woodstock, Ga, but I guess it is just the name of the mall.  My sister, my sister-in-law, and I met our friends there to see what all the excitement was about. It was the first time we visited the mall since its grand opening on July 18, 2013. The first thing that caught my eye was the long line to the Coach store. We waited in line for about 5 minutes. When we got in, there was nothing special, but the prices were great. They had a 50% off going on. I could easily buy a $400.00 Coach bag for $200.00, but I don’t think having a third Coach bag was a great idea. So I left the store despite my urge to buy a Coach wallet to replace my over-used Rolex wallet.

The only shocker was the Michael Kors Outlet Store. They even had the very first bag that Michael designed for a little over $200.00. I tried on a pair of sunglasses and left the store with my heart cramping. How do you leave a Micheal Kors Outlet store empty-handed? I don’t know, but I put my best foot forward and I did. That’s how you know you’ve recovered. I left the mall with two pairs of sneakers for my kids, and nothing for me.  I took a few pictures to share my little recovered shopaholic experience with you. Check them out below!

How To Find The Right Pair Of Sunglasses For Your Face Shape

How To Find The Right Pair Of SunglassesHi guys!
Who knew there was a science behind choosing the right pair of shades for your face shape. Some of us are just care-free. We just buy the best Michael Kors  Sunglasses we can find and couldn’t care less about what others see when they look at us. The other day I bought a pair of Banana Republic sunglasses only to find out later that they make my face look fat…ter. Below are a few tips on how to find your perfect pair.

  1. OBLONG/LONG FACE: Wrap/Aviator Frames
  2. SQUARE FACE: Round Frames
  3. HEART SHAPED FACE: Wayfarer Frames
  4. ROUND FACE: Square Frames
  5. OVAL FACE: Wayfarer, Cat-Eye, Aviator Frames

I have an oval shape face and I think that I can get away with any shape, but I try to stay away from shades that make my forehead and my cheeks look bigger than they already are. The main purpose of a pair of sunglasses is to protect your precious eyes. So when choosing a pair of sunglasses your primary purpose is to make sure that they can block 100 percent of UVA/UVB rays. Avoid cheap glasses that will cause harms to your eyes. And the most important thing is to remember to wear your sunglasses.

What Is A UPF 50+ Rating? And Why Should You Wear Clothes That Carry It ?

UV Protection Factor or “UPF”

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. This  rating system measures the UV protection provided by fabrics. Some clothes provide more and some provide less. It is very similar to the SPF rating system used for sunscreens. A garment with a UPF of 50 only allows 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment to pass through it. In other words, it blocks 49/50ths or 98% of the UV radiation.

Sites like Mott50.com, parasolsun.com,  and Coolibar.com  are among  the sites that sell clothes that can protect your skin against the sun’s UV rays. Although they don’t carry a wide variety of clothes and accessories to choose from, their clothes block at least 98% UVA/UVB. These clothes are recommended for people with a history of skin cancer, people with sensitive skin, and those who are exposed to the sun a lot, like gardeners and construction workers. Clothes that are made with cotton fabrics are usually cooler than other fabrics. Therefore, they carry a higher UPF rating.

As for me? I am completely fine with any fabric during the summer. I rarely get sun burned. Unless I spend a day on the beach, I don’t even need a great amount of sunscreen. But my daughter get sun burned easily because she has a history of  eczema.  You can expect to spend between $60-$200 for a dress that carries a UPF of 50+. You can pay this amount of money for a dress depending on how severe your skin condition is, or you can just wear regular clothes made with cotton or bamboo fabrics during the summer. Don’t wait until you are going to the beach to wear your sunscreen, and your summer will be just fine.

Fashion According To Van Gogh: Sleeveless Deco Print Dress $1695

I cannot tell you guys how excited I was when I saw this picture on  luckymag.com. I was happy because it’s one of my favorite piece of art. I bought it at a garage sale for only $14. Yes. It’s fake, but that does not make me any less excited. It’s been hanging on my wall since 2005. I decorated my office around it; that’s how much I love it. The original painting can go up to $1,400 depending on the size you choose. People who saw Van Gogh painting at night in 1888 probably thought that he was crazy. But isn’t that what passion is? Going after what you want no matter what the obstacles are.
Fashion According to Van Gogh
A $1,695 dress deserves to be worn with a pair of shoes worthy of the fabric that was used to create the dress. That’s where Valentino’s $1,695 Crystal-Embellished lace pumps come in. A pair of Chanel shades and Michael Kors’ tote  make this outfit the ultimate traveler’s must-have.

TV News: Teyonah Parris Attended The Breaking Bad Series Finale In California

Teyonah Parris celebrated  the final episodes of ‘Breaking Bad’ with AMC. The event was held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, yesterday evening. The ‘Mad Men’ star, looked stunning as always. She wore a dark-coloured ensemble from The Hellers consisting of a metallic gold-and-black striped crop top and fitted skirt styled with Ruthie Davis cut-out booties, and a black clutch. And of course, her signature natural hair updo.  I love her shoes and her beautiful smile.

One Dress Three seasons: How to Make Your Shift Dress Work For You All Seasons

one Dress, Three seasons
Hi guys,
I want to thank all my new followers. I love you guys! This blog is nothing without you, especially those of you who stop by to drop a line and those of you who subscribed either via bloglovin’ or via email. This blog has been up for only three months and we have over 600 visitors a day and 118 email subscribers. So thanks to you Facebook likers, Pinterest pinners, stumbleUpon stumblers, Digg diggers, and Google+ plus……ers.

This post is to remind you guys that the little shift dress that you have in your closet is a four-season dress. If you like to wear layers during the winter like me, you can wear a cardigan, a coat, stockings, and a pair of ankle boots to keep you warm during the winter. A colorful cardigan worn with a belt over the dress with some flats will give you a nice Spring look. Show off your shoulders and your pedicured toes by wearing your dress with nothing but statement jewelries and a pair of open-toed shoes. The Spring look can also be worn as a Fall look, but wear neutral colors instead of bold prints. A light jacket or knee high boots would not hurt your Fall look either.
