Wet N’ Wild FERGIE A007 Miami Spirit Color Nail Polish REVIEW

 Hi ladies!
I hope you had a wonderful night. I had a great night thanks to my friend, Mr. Pinot Noir. I am so excited about today’s product. I have been looking forward to reviewing this product for you. I have been using it for over a month now, and I think that’s a long enough time to use a product before reviewing it. I paid $3.49 for this product at my local beauty supply store. The price may vary from store to store. Keep reading if you want more info!

Warnings:

Avoid heat & flame.

My Personal Opinion:
Pros:
  1. Affordable
  2. Fast Drying
  3. Long Lasting
  4. No Chipping
  5. Comes off easily

Cons:

  1.  The applicator’s head is too big

The bottom line:
I would definitely recommend this nail polish to a friend because of its long lasting effects. When I say no chipping I mean it can go a week or so without chipping. My nails chip for no particular reason. If I can say this product does not chip, that means it won’t chip for somebody with normal, healthy nails. My only problem with this product is that the applicator’s head/brush is too big, making it very hard to apply the product. For a product that dries up so quickly, I am surprised that it is so easy to remove it from the nails. I wear it mostly on my toe nails and it lasts up to two weeks before it starts chipping. I love it!

TREsemme Flawless Curls Curl Moisturizing Conditioner REVIEW

Hi ladies,
Every week I try to review at least one product to give you an idea what hair or beauty product I am experimenting with. Today I am reviewing TREsemme Flawless Curls Curl Moisturizing Conditioner. It was created for curly and wavy hair, and the average price is $3.48 for a 32 oz bottle. I remember paying only $3.42 for it at Kroger. I mostly use it on my daughter’s hair because she is allergic to wheat and this product does not have wheat germs in it.

Important Information

Ingredients
Water (Aqua), Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Dimethicone, Cyclohexasiloxane, Aspartic Acid, Quaternium-18, Fragrance (Parfum), Dmdm Hydantoin, Citric Acid, Isostearamidopropyl Ethyldimonium Ethosulfate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Disodium Edta, Peg-9, Amyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Polysorbate 20, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Thiamine Hcl, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Ascorbic Acid, Niacinamide, Biotin.

Product Description

This moisturizing formula, containing Vitamin B1, is ideal for those with curly or wavy hair. Detangles and smoothes the cuticles of your curls with just the right amount of moisture, preparing your hair to be styled so you can achieve flawless curls every time. You’ll be on the way to perfecting your curls before you even step out of the shower.

My Personal Opinion:

Pros:

  • Fresh Scent
  • Cheap
  • Moisturizing
  • Gentle
  • Detangling

Cons:

  • none

The bottom line:

I am not the kind of person who goes crazy about any product unless it is really, really good. I would say that this product is good for the price. I recommend it to natural ladies who co-wash their hair often. It is gentle on the scalp, which makes it ideal for little girls. The hair stays moisturized after each wash. My daughter suffers from severe eczema. So if I can use this product on her hair without experiencing any side effects, that means this product is worth trying, but I am not all crazy about it.

Warning:

Don’t let it get in your eyes. It burns.

Review: My Addiction To Sally Hansen Nail Colors

You know you are addicted to a product when you start stealing it from your sister, your best friend, and your sister-in-law. I have found myself stealing/borrowing Sally Hansen nail polish lately. Well, I did not steal them, I just never returned them. It would be weird for me to do a review on each Sally Hansen nail polish I own. It would be like repeating myself. Broken record anyone?

One of the things that I love about any Sally Hansen nail polish is its ability to strengthen the nails. I love the shine that each nail polish provides. The quality is very good for the price, and there are a large varieties to choose from.  The one in the middle that looks like I have owned it since 1990 is great for nail growth. The one on its right stops the nails from chipping. Another thing that I like about the Sally Hansen line is that they have a nail polish for each nail problem, and you don’t have to pay a fortune for any of them.

Have you used Sally Hansen nail colors?

REVIEW: Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner ( Weightless Moisture)

”

I have been using Giovanni Direct Leave-in Conditioner for over a year now.  I bought it after reading and seeing numerous reviews on youtube. Today, I am glad to review this product for you and give you my personal opinion on the product.

This conditioner infuses each individual hair with protein. Pumps it up. Goes directly to style. Made in U.S.A.

My personal opinion:

Pros:

  • Makes hair soft and manageable
  • Made with natural ingredients
  • Moisturizing
  • Lightweight

Cons: Over-priced

Bottom line:
The last time I bought this product I bought 3 bottles for $19 and change with free shipping. That’s how much I love it. It’s funny because I started using it on my daughter’s hair first. After seeing how great it was on her hair, I started using it myself, and I have not looked back since then. It is really good for African American women with type four hair. It moisturizes the hair, holds the moisture in, and defines curls at the same time. I highly recommend this product.

REVIEW: AmLactin Alpha Hydroxy Therapy Moisturizing Body Lotion

amlactin, own, oprah           I received this product from  OWN – Oprah Winfrey Network- almost a week ago because I won their win on Wednesdays promotional challenge. I basically helped promote their network on my twitter page and I got a travel size bottle of a very expensive lotion. You think you would get a bigger bottle from Oprah’s people. Then again, who knows how many bottles they have to distribute? I have never heard of Amlactin before. When I saw the $3.00 coupon I knew it had to be expensive. It’s like getting a $100.00 coupon from COACH, which you can only spend on a $400.00 handbag.

My personal opinion:
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Goes on smoothly
  • Bearable smell
  • Stays on longer
  • Hydrating

Cons:

  • Expensive
  • Sticky

Bottom line:

I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. The average price for a 20 oz bottle is $18.00, but if you don’t use too much when applying it, it will last you a long time. I have severe dry skin, so I had to moisturize my hands every time I washed them before I started using this product. Now, I can skip the moisturizer after one wash or two. Am I going to use the coupon? Heck yeah!

More Information:
I know you might be asking yourself what on this natural earth of ours is  Haitian VETIVER? I am from Haiti,  and all I can remember about Vetiver is that builders used the roots to build houses. They would let  the roots sit in mud for a while and than lay them over barbed wires to form the walls of the house. I never knew that it had healing powers. Click here for more info on Vetiver.

My personal opinion:

 Pros:

  • Moisturizing beyond belief
  • Good for the price
  • Great for extremely dry skin
  • Not messy
  • Great for sunburn and blemishes

Cons:

  • The smell is over-powering

The bottom line:
The smell is very strong while applying the lotion, but it does not last. I don’t know about you, but I don’t need all this fragrance ( senti bon)  in my  healing lotion. The product can leave your skin very greasy if you use too much. It is more like a cream than a lotion. The consistency is very thick. You get best results if you use it right after your shower. Use it on dry skin if you have sunburn or mosquito bites that hurt. You can buy this product online for less than $10.00.  I am recommending this product to you. Try it and let me know what you think.

Product Description

Enriched with conditioning ingredients of Vitamins A & E and Aloe Vera for moist-looking lips.

I brushed it on only twice to have that light and shiny look.

My Personal Opinion:

  • Not messy
  • Goes on smoothly
  • Very moisturizing
  • Affordable
  • Lips stay moisturized for a long time

Bottom Line:

This is not the best lipstick that I have tried, but I would recommend it for one reason only: It is very moisturizing. Castor beans are known to provide moisture and they have great healing powers, too. So this is a great buy if you need something affordable and lip friendly.
